Caroline Kanter is the Deputy Head of the European and International Cooperation Division of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) in Berlin, Germany.
From August 2020 until April 2023, Ms. Kanter served as Country Director of the KAS in Paris, France. Before Paris, she headed the foundation’s office in Rome and was responsible for Italy, Malta and the Holy Sea from 2014 to 2020. Prior to that, she worked at KAS headquarters in Berlin heading the South-East Asia Department and the Western Europe / North America Department. From 2001 until 2005, Ms. Kanter worked as a Senior Advisor in the KAS office in Washington, D.C. While living in France from 2005 until 2009, Ms. Kanter worked in the field of Management Education at the Grande Ecole ESSEC Business School. She holds a master’s degree in political science from the Free University in Berlin.
