Hichem Elloumi is a distinguished engineer and business leader with a degree from L’ÉcolePolytechnique de Paris and L’ÉcoleSupérieure de l’Électricité (SUPELEC). He began his career in 1977 at the Elloumi Group, holding key roles in operations, distribution, and electrical contracting. In 1992, he co-founded COFICAB Tunisia, specializing in automotive electrical wires and cables. Under his leadership as Chairman and CEO, COFICAB has become a global leader, integrating advanced technologies and sustainability into its operations.
Elloumi has significantly contributed to the business and industrial sectors. He served as President of the National Federation of Electricity and Electronics (FEDELEC) from 2006 to 2013 and has been Vice President of UTICA, Tunisia’s Employers Organization, since 2013. He also presides over the Tunisian-Moroccan and Tunisian-Portuguese Business Councils and is a member of the Advisory Council of the African Business Leaders Coalition under the U.N. Global Compact.
